For a Ph.D. thesis, it ensures that the scholar’s work reflects originality, proper citation of sources, and ethical contribution to the field of knowledge. Without academic integrity, the quality and credibility of research are compromised.

Why is Plagiarism Check Needed?

Plagiarism check ensures that the thesis is an original work of the scholar. It identifies unintentional similarities, prevents self-plagiarism, and ensures compliance with academic and institutional policies.

Forms Required for Plagiarism Checking

The following forms must be submitted along with the thesis for plagiarism checking:

  1. Plagiarism Checking Form (through Guide)
  2. Certificate of Originality (Annexure-I)
  3. Declaration of Authorship (Annexure-II)
  4. Self-Plagiarism Certificate (Annexure-VI)
  5. The complete thesis (pdf/doc) is to be submit rite in CD/DVD and is ti be submit with the forms.

The thesis documents must be organized in the following sequence (PDF format):

  1. All – Complete Thesis
  2. 01_Title – Title Page
  3. 02_Preliminary Pages – Certificates, Acknowledgements, Lists
  4. 03_Table of Contents – TOC
  5. 04_Abstract – Abstract
  6. 05_Chapter 1 – Introduction
  7. 06_Chapter 2… – Subsequent Chapters
  8. 12_Annexures – References, Questionnaires, Publications
  9. 80_Recommendations – Conclusion, Future Work
  10. 90_PlagiarismReport – Plagiarism Report

Note: The thesis documents are to be submited through CD/DVD a copy (only) to the library and a copy to the academic section with the hard copy of the printed thesis.
